It's April and there is alot going on this month. I have been rehearsing for a show lately, Shakespeare's All's Well That Ends Well and I am playing the part of Parrolles.
I got a very odd piece of praise the other day, "You are doing more with this character than any of your others". I wasn't sure how to handle this. My first reaction was to defend myself with the comment, "This is the first one I could do more with." This is true to some extent considering I've always been type cast as the crazy/funny over-the-top characters but I was a bit taken aback as I found time to mull the contents of his message.
I keep hearing that I am doing so well with this character, the sad part is... I'm just playing him as I imagine him. There is no struggle, no hardwork involved here, the hardest part is the lines.
More on this when I have time to think about it.

Looking back
Wow, all of this was almost two years ago.
Life has a funny way of getting away from us.
No time for writing today but know that some will come soon.
